IT IS WRONG TO FIGHT
IT IS WRONG TO FIGHT-Dominick
I agree but also disagree with my heading it all depends on whether it's online fights or fighting over land or just being drunk and fighting. Here are some categories and what I think about them.
I think fighting is wrong because what is the point of fighting? Why do we fight? This is the violence death rate from physical fighting About 5.8 million people die each year as a result of almost twice as many men as women die as a result of violence each year.
A disastrous thing about fighting is it’s a bad influence on younger kids. At the age of 5 you should not know all the swear words and you should not know to kick someone somewhere inappropriate. Little kids need a clean life so they can feel safe growing up. A lot of the time a bad childhood leads to a bad life. At young ages kids also don’t know that it’s bad or not so they can go around saying something rude without even knowing what it means. You might think it makes you look cool and tough but it just shows you’re being a bad person. Kids need a nice life without all the fighting going on around them, otherwise they will just learn that’s the way of life which it isn’t. If you have to fight then don’t do it around kids cause you don’t know what’s going on inside their tiny brains.
In conclusion someone said, “If you resort to fighting then you’ve lost already.” I purposefully think that this statement is true because you have choices and they’re more powerful than the fist or gun. Millions of people lose their lives each year because of violence caused by fighting. The statistic of more men dying then women is because they are more prone to using violence to get what they want. Finally, what is the point of fighting? It doesn’t serve a purpose it just wastes lives and time.

polygon
Polygons are 2-dimensional shapes. They are made of straight lines, and the shape is "closed" (all the lines connect up). I am learning about polygons in math.A polygon is a close figure that has three or more sides.

Athletics
Monday 2 November 2020 was a long day for everyone because it was athletics I helped run shot put for a couple of events with Urmi. I had a turn looking where the shot put ball went then put one foot in front of the other in a straight line from where the ball hit to the measuring tape. I also had a turn rolling shot put ball to the next shot puter then I joined in for shot put and got 7.30m an 8.03m with a 4 kg shot put ball witch was my best and put me in 4th place. Which means if someone wanted to drops out I can go to zones witch will be my first time going because I have only been to athletics 2 in my entire school life because I don't like when people take photos of me and they normal take heaps on athletics. So I don't go but at this school they don't take to many photos so I started to go and last year was pretty good I nearly went to zones for discus but I came 3 but in discus an only 2 people get to go to zones so I misted out because no one dropped out so back to this year I also comped in sprints an long jump. but I am not very good at long jump but I still gave it a go and got 3 plus meters then the last event I did was sprints and i have hurt my leg so I came last and 2 of my friend made it for sprints Blake and Geo from a different class.

why we should have good manners in are class
2 reasons why we should have good manners in are class
1 why do we need to be rude all it does is is makes people angry and it is not nice how would you feel if one person said something nasty to you then a different person does it you then you do it to someone it make a chain recreation all because of one nasty comment. they could just be having a bad day so we should just talk calmly to a friend or someone you feel confabulate or say something nice to try to make a chain reaction a you will probably recessive your kindness back to you.
2 if you treat your teachers and fellow students rudely how do u think they will treat you back. the same way you treated them but if you treat them kindly they will treat you the same but there are some people how will not treat you kindly if you treat them kindly but if you just kept on being nice to them they are going to be kinder everyday think about it how do get angry someone makes you angry most of the time right but if everyone's nice its hard to be angry how nice would it be if no one was every mean to you again.

Tangram Builder-Immersion Geometry
These are some of the shapes Nogo's math group made on this app called Tangram Builder. We learnt that moving the pieces into place required rotation, flip and slide and rotate some 90 degrees and move then left and right until the shadow of the shape is covered. I have learnt that the shapes are rotated, flipped and slide to their correct position.

Sailing
Sailing was really fun but when we first got to Lake Rua. We had a chat lunch then started to set up are boats aka dingy then are instructor showed us how to sail on land on we practiced the movement for a like ten minuets. Then we carried some or the boats down to the water and while people were sailing I was nerviness to sail because people were tipping the boat in to the water and getting soaked in cold water but then I had a turn sailing and it was as hard as it looked an I actuality found it pretty easy and fun so I kept going and I was going so fast I over took 4 people. I was getting better and after some practice I was going right around a buoy at full speed I had about 9 turns sailing then it was time to pack up. So I jumped in the water and helps lift the boats out of the water then we took the boats apart and put parts back, then we went for a swim then got changed and jumped on the bus went to school at around 3 o'clock then went home. We were out for the whole school day.

This Term.
This term has been different because of all the stuff we have been doing e'g math's we have been working on learning new stuff that we don't know. But we have also doing math's that we know again because most students in the class I am in didn't now a lot of math questions we learned in year 6. And we have also been doing a lot of sport we have been doing volleyball for the first time with Nogo with is my favorite teacher and we have also been doing touch everyday I have gotten a lot better we won most of our games that we had. From when I started playing I have learnt to spiral pass and Logan which is one of my friends Nd he is also teaching me how to drop. Kick every time I practice I get better and better but now I can drop kick pretty good. now But not every time and last but not least this term I had basket ball and are couch was Harry he is a really good basketball teacher.
What we did today.
Today has been going good it has been pretty quiet though because most of the class is at a skiing trip so the is only about half of the class left. The first thing we did in the morning was science and we are learning about birds and designing a garden. We did science for about a hour and a half then went onto kahoot and did one of those, the questions were about New Zealand and some of the names were Maori related so they were alright. In the kahoot there were 30 questions they weren't that hard though. After the kahoot we went out to the back field and played rugby that was pretty fun we were out there for quiet a while but it was fun we then came back in and got our computers and logged onto quizlet witch is a math game

Finding circumference using our known feet length
Today for math we were doing measurement to find the circumference of a circle out on the courts. I had already worked out how many of my feet length in a metre from last weeks lesson. 4 feet lengths of my feet make a metre. So I used my feet length to measure the diameter of circle. It was 12 feet lengths for me so it must have been 3 metres. I then multiplied 3 metres using pi(π = 3.14) using the formula Circumference = 3.14 x 3 metres = 9.42m. So the circumference of the circle is 9.42m.

Math and Ratio's
We have been working on ratios. We have 17 grapes and 34 dogs. The two ratios are separated by a colon or could written as 17 to 34 or 17/34. So we have a ratio of 17:34 and the reason that 17 is first in the ratio is because it was mentioned first and 34 for was mentioned last so it was put last in the ratio. A ratio can also be written as a fraction 17/34 then as an equivalent fraction which is 1/2 as 17 out of 34 is half.

maramataka
Nights in the maramataka | the Maori lunar month. The Maori lunar calendar is called the Maramataka, which literally means the turning of the moon. It marks the phases of the moon in a lunar month.
The maramataka was an important marker of time for our tūpuna, as it provided information on the best times of the day, month and year for certain activities. As a lunar calendar, the maramataka followed the phases of the moon throughout the month – each day with a different name, holding different information.
Maramataka differ depending on the environment of the iwi/ hapu who is following it. There are many similarities, in names, phases and practices. There are over 400 maramataka recorded to date.

My favourite chocolate delight review
This pineapple delight is better on my opinion I will rate it 10/10 the pineapple goes really well with chocolate and it is not too chewy but not too soft I absolutely love them they are amazing.
I am not as much of a fan of the minty treat because it leaves an after taste and is way too strong it need more chocolate and less mint and it is also a bit to chewy
Please feel free to send us new samples for us to review
